Dr Megan
Founder & Clinical Psychologist
You've mastered the art of looking like you have it all together, but you're secretly terrified that you're one mistake away from everything unraveling. All they see is performance that is perfectionism, but only you know about the 3am anxiety spirals and constant mental rehearsals of worst-case scenarios. Deep down inside, you know you can’t keep living like this, but it’s also too scary to try something different. What if you upset someone? What if the life you built falls apart? What if you scare everyone away?
Are you ready to build genuine confidence instead of just maintaining the performance? I got you.
I’m Dr Megan, an IFS-Certified Clinical Psychologist with over a decade’s worth of experience helping Gen Z and Millennial women overcome anxiety and trauma so that they feel a deep inner knowing of their worthiness. One of the reasons I'm deeply passionate about the work I do is because I've been there. I know firsthand what it's like to confront anxiety, navigate the aftermath of trauma, and work through the layers of discovering and affirming my identity.
As a survivor and bi woman, I understand the courage it takes to move from victim to survivor, the vulnerability of embracing authenticity, and the profound growth that occurs when we face our pain with compassion and strength. These experiences are incredibly human, yet we're rarely given the support and tools we need to heal. I believe you deserve that support, and I'm here to offer it.

My professional journey began as a Certified Crisis Interventionist & Advocate at a rape crisis center in Downtown Los Angeles. This experience deeply inspired me, prompting me to pursue both my master's and doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology. I received clinical trauma training at Jenesse Domestic Violence Shelter and affirmative therapy training the LA LGBT Center. During my post-doc, I received additional training in the neuroscience of trauma, and went on to become Havening Techniques Certified and Internal Family Systems (IFS) Certified.

My patients have described me as compassionate, understanding, empowering, and direct. If you’re looking for a place to vent once a week, I’m not the right fit for you. I use each session together to unroot trauma, hold up an honest mirror, and empower you to create the life you want. Working with me is going to feel like a gentle push forward with a soft place to land.

Outside of session, I’m usually playing with my dog, Maya, listening to music (my favorite band is King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard), brunching with my friends, at a protest or charity event, taking care of my plants (each has a name, of course), or out exploring nature.
