Hi there. I’m Dr Megan, Founder of Ash & Blooms Holistic Psychotherapy.

You’re probably finding yourself here because you’re tired of struggling, and you’re wondering if you can really trust us with the most intimate aspects of your life. I get it. In fact, one of the reasons I'm so passionate about this work is because I've been there. I know what it's like to confront anxiety, navigate the aftermath of trauma, and build a solid sense of self. This work is sacred, and you deserve a therapist who not only has lived experience but is equipped with the evidence-based tools needed to guide you through this transformational process.

After over a decade of building an expertise in healing trauma and empowerment, I envisioned a practice that addressed what I saw missing in mental health care: a practice in which trauma expertise goes beyond traditional talk therapy and instead, provides a therapeutic process deeply grounded in the neuroscience of healing, where social justice values aren’t just buzzwords but the foundations of care, and where the hard work of transformation is held within an environment that feels soulful, grounded, and surprisingly simple. From that vision, Ash & Blooms was born.

Ash & Blooms is a boutique practice of therapists with shared values and an expertise in healing trauma and anxiety. While we primarily work with Gen Z and Millennial women and LGBTQIA+ folks, all people (and all parts) are welcome. As a collective, we have a number of specialties, including healing childhood and sexual trauma, alleviating anxiety, and repairing relationship wounds, which you can read more about under our ‘Specialties’ tab. Whichever specific goals you have in therapy, our mission is to provide you with the healing you deserve and the deep-felt sense of confidence you need to shift from surviving to thriving.

Ash & Blooms Holistic Psychotherapy Values

  • We believe that our mind, bodies, and spirits are deeply intertwined, and this means that true healing requires addressing parts of your life beyond emotional wellness such as physical, financial, occupational, social, sexual, and intellectual wellness. In addition to taking an holistic approach in the room, we partner with other professionals such as nutritionists, psychiatrists, physical therapists, and bodyworkers to support your holistic healing.

  • At Ash & Blooms, we recognize that your mental health is shaped by the systems and social contexts you navigate every day- racism, sexism, homophobia, and other forms of oppression aren't just background noise, they're real forces impacting your wellbeing. Grounded in feminist therapy principles, we understand that many struggles labeled as "personal problems" are actually responses to oppressive systems and impossible standards. We honor the full complexity of your identities and cultural values, seeing them as sources of strength rather than obstacles to overcome. Our therapists aren't blank slates. We're real people who bring awareness of how politics, social norms, and systemic inequities shape mental health, and we help you distinguish between what's yours to heal and what's society's to change. Your liberation matters, and we're committed to creating space where all of who you are is celebrated.

  • Anyone can claim to be "trauma-informed," but at Ash & Blooms, our therapists go far beyond the basics. We have specialized training in the neuroscience of trauma and evidence-based somatic therapies that address how trauma lives in your body, not just your mind. We use cutting-edge approaches like EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Havening Techniques, and Somatic Experiencing because the latest research shows that healing trauma requires working with your nervous system, not just talking about what happened. Our expertise means we understand how trauma rewires your brain, dysregulates your body, and shapes your relationships, and more importantly, we know exactly how to help you heal at that deep, neurological level. This isn't surface-level support or generic coping strategies; this is transformational work grounded in science and delivered with skill. When you work with us, you're getting therapists who have invested thousands of hours mastering the art and science of trauma recovery.

  • Healing from trauma is hard enough; everything else should be easy. Ash & Blooms is a practice where the complexity of trauma is honored by making everything else- scheduling, billing, coordinating care- effortless, so you can focus entirely on your healing journey. You can easily schedule or cancel sessions online anytime, you’ll automatically receive superbills after each session, and you’ll be able to access care from anywhere in California using our HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. For those located in Los Angeles, we have multiple locations- Beverly Hills, Pasadena, and Santa Monica- so we’re never too far from home. We handle the logistics so you can pour your energy into what matters most: your healing.
