Hannah Nicolaci
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
You’ve spent much of your life second-guessing yourself- trying to earn love, peace, or permission to be who you are. You’ve learned to scan for danger instead of safety, to accommodate others instead of trusting your own needs, and to question your worth even when your heart was only ever asking to be seen. Over time, that can lead to self-doubt, disconnection, and difficulty trusting or validating your needs and emotions. You want support for what you've been through, acknowledgment that it happened and it mattered. You want to stop feeling defined by what others did to you and start living a life that actually feels like yours.
Hi there. I’m Hannah (she/her), a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in Santa Monica, California. I specialize in walking alongside survivors of abuse as they release fear-based patterns and step into lives that feel authentic, grounded, and deeply fulfilling. My work focuses on supporting driven, passionate women who are ready to get out of their own way and reclaim their power. Through my experience working with survivors of sexual and domestic assault, I bring trauma-informed care and attachment-based approaches that help you rebuild trust in yourself and recognize that you are worthy of healthy love. I work with people who are ready to start believing in themselves- to rebuild trust in their instincts, reconnect with their voice, and learn what it means to feel safe in their own skin. Together, we’ll gently untangle the messages that taught you to doubt your worth and begin rewriting your story to one rooted in self-trust, self-compassion, and CHOICE.
Healing doesn’t mean becoming someone new; it means returning to yourself. You deserve to come home to a life that feels peaceful, empowered, and entirely your own. You don't need fixing- you need someone who will advocate for you until you can advocate for yourself. Someone who will help you identify the critical voices that aren't even yours, challenge the beliefs that keep you paralyzed, and show you a new reality where you make decisions with confidence and live on your own terms. You've already proven you can survive. Now let's help you thrive. If you're ready to stop letting fear write your story and start creating a life that's self-sustaining, authentic, and fulfilling, I'm here to support you every step of the way.

My clinical training began at a rape crisis center, Peace over Violence, where I became well-versed in working with crisis, trauma, and survivors of domestic and sexual assault. Since becoming a licensed therapist, I’ve gained specialized training in trauma modalities such as EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS).

The key part of therapy is the relationship between you and your therapist. The best way to know if I’m the right fit is to start with a conversation.
